September is just around the corner and it’s back to school. Porridge is just the best breakfast to fill your little ones up and so delicious when sweetened with our Pure Maple Syrup.
We have three yummy porridge recipes, Spiced Apple with Maple, Carrot Cake with Maple and Banana and Peanut Butter with Maple.
Recipe makes 1 adult portion or 2 small children’s portions.
Ingredients
- 50g of porridge oats
- 190ml milk
- Pure Maple Syrup, Amber Rich for sweetening
For Spiced Apple Porridge
- 1 small apple, finely grated and reserve a few slices to decorate
- 20g sultanas
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon mixed spice
- Splash of cream
- Handful of pecans
For Carrot Cake Porridge
- 1 small carrot, peeled and finely grated
- 20g sultanas
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Handful of walnuts
For Peanut Butter and Banana Porridge
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- Peanut butter for drizzling
- 1 teaspoon mixed seeds
