Excellent authentic Canadian Maple Syrup, straight from the source! I've been looking for real Canadian Maple Syrup for some time and was delighted to discover Pure Maple. As well as being an excellent product, it’s great to have the choice not to use Amazon, but yet still get a very competitive price.  The service is brilliant too.  The prices supermarkets charge, for often substandard syrups, is not worth paying when you can buy 1L jugs and decant into smaller bottles for daily use. Plum pie is something I started baking when my children were little, inspired by the children’s book Each Peach Pear Plum by Janet and Allan Ahlberg, where all the characters share a plum pie together at the end. This little book holds so many precious memories for me, from my days as an Early Years teacher to reading it over and over again to my own children. We’ve always believed it was something special and now...

When it’s too hot to cook and only something simple will do, you’ll love these grilled maple peaches on toasted sourdough, topped with mozzarella, basil and prosciutto, then finished with a drizzle of maple syrup and chilli flakes for an extra kick. Perfect served with a fresh salad for a light dinner or an easy lunch.Grilled Maple Peaches on Toasted SourdoughIngredients: 1 Peach, cut into thick slices 1 Tbsp Olive oil 3 - 4 Tbsp pure maple syrup 2 thick slices of sourdough bread, toasted 120g mozzarella cheese, sliced 4 slices of prosciutto Fresh Basil leaves Chilli flakes, optionalInstructions: 1.Brush the grill pan with the olive oil and place on medium heat. Gently coat the peaches with maple syrup before cooking on the hot pan. Grill for 2 - 3 minutes on each side until they have the the charred grill marks. Remove and set aside. 2. Meanwhile, lightly toast the bread and start to assemble the layers of cheese and prosciutto on the warm bread, topped with the grilled peaches and basil leaves. Sprinkle some hot chilli flakes in the dish with the remaining maple syrup and pour over the peaches to give it a spicy kick.#puremaplesyrup #puremaple #peaches

Looking for some summer recipe inspirations for the BBQ? If you like sweet and spicy combination, you’ll love this..Spicy Maple Pineapple on the BBQ! 🍍🍁🌶️Ingredients: semi firm pineapple, trimmed and cut into thick spears 60g Pure Maple Syrup, Amber Rich 2 Tbsp butter, melted 1/2 Tsp cayenne pepper chilli flakes limeInstructions: 1. Whisk together the maple, butter and cayenne. Marinade the pineapple spears and refrigerate until BBQ is ready. 2. Place spears on the BBQ and baste more marinade on the pineaple while cooking. It should take 4 -6 minutes per side, until nicely coloured. 3. Before serving squeeze a little lime juice and sprinkle with chilli flakes for extra heat. Serve as a side along with barbequed meats, or vegetables and salad.#puremaple #puremaplesyrup #bbq
