Maple Granola

Looking for a healthy, wholesome breakfast for your family? Try this simple and delicious maple granola recipe that everyone will love. It is packed with natural ingredients and it is completely vegan.

Ingredients

  • 375g rolled oats
  • 100g slivered almonds
  • 70g sunflower seeds
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 35g chopped dates
  • 35g chopped dried apricots
  • 35g dried cranberries
  • 40g flaked coconut
  • 100g coconut oil, melted
  • 125ml Pure Maple Syrup, Dark Robust
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170C and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and
    salt.
  3. Add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly
    until all the dry ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly across the prepared baking tray and bake for
    25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even browning.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly, then stir through the
    chopped dates, dried apricots, cranberries and flaked coconut.
  6. Leave to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
