Maple Iced Coffee Recipe
Try this simple iced coffee recipe to cool down in the garden during summer. It is easy to make and just as good as one from your favourite coffee shop.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee
- 1 to 2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup, Amber Rich
- Boiling water
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 150ml milk
- Ice cubes
- Cocoa powder, optional
Instructions
- In a deep bowl, whip the instant coffee, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and 2 tablespoons of boiling water with a hand held mixer until it forms a creamy mousse.
- Add the milk, vanilla, and ice cubes to a tall glass. Spoon in the whipped coffee mixture, stir, and sweeten to taste with a little more maple syrup. Sprinkle with cocoa powder if using. Makes one serving.
