Matcha and White Chocolate Waffles Recipe

These matcha and white chocolate waffles are ideal for St Patrick’s Day. Serve with whipped cream, raspberries, and a generous drizzle of maple syrup.

Makes 7 waffles.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle maker. In a small bowl, mix the matcha powder with around 3 tablespoons of water to form a smooth paste.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Add the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and maple syrup, then whisk gently until smooth.
  3. Fold through the matcha paste and white chocolate chips.
  4. Spoon the batter into the hot waffle maker and cook until golden.
  5. Serve with whipped cream, raspberries, and extra maple syrup.
