Vegan Maple Cinnamon Doughnuts
We have been busy whipping up some delicious maple syrup inspired recipes for everyone to try at home. These vegan maple cinnamon doughnuts are a wonderful treat to make for friends and family, especially over the festive period.
Ingredients

The doughnuts
- 1 cup plain flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup almond or soy milk
- 3/4 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- Vanilla extract (optional)
The coating
- 1 part maple sugar
- 1 part cinnamon
Instructions
- Place all of the doughnut ingredients into a bowl and whisk until fully combined.
- Lightly grease a doughnut pan with a little oil.
- Scoop or pipe the batter into the pan, filling each mould about two thirds full.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
- While the doughnuts are baking, mix together the maple sugar and cinnamon.
- Once baked, leave the doughnuts to cool in the tin for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Lightly spray each doughnut with a little oil, then roll in the maple cinnamon sugar to coat.
